| Bavarian Excellence Network, ENB |
| In 2005 the Bavarian government launched an elite network with another 11 schools of excellence in all fields. One of them, QCCC, is a joint PhD school by the two Munich Universities together with the Max-Planck-Institute of Quantum Optics, three leading research institutions in Europe. On the Campus in Garching, just a few yards off, there is another ENB excellence programme in the mathematics faculty of TU-Munich: TopMath. |
